Weize Heavy Duty 3500 Lb Electric Trailer Jack with Drop Leg

The Weize electric jack allows you to raise and lower your A-frame trailer quickly and easily, with a 3,500 lbs. lift capacity and a low-maintenance 12V DC electric gear motor. Providing 18" of lift, it has a retracted height of 9 inches and an extended height of 27 inches, with an additional 5-5/8" of drop leg lift. The outer tube diameter is 2-1/4", with a 2" inner tube diameter.

To ensure great performance even at night, this jack comes equipped with a front-facing LED light. Directed at a downward angle, the light enables easy deployment and retraction of the jack in low-light settings. Additionally, the unit includes a manual crank handle in case of power loss.

Durable and sturdy, the jack's heavy-gauge steel construction ensures durability and strength, while the black powder coat finish resists rust and corrosion. The textured housing prevents chips and cracks, further enhancing its long-lasting performance.

The jack kit includes a removable foot pad, a 3/8" safety lock pin, and a manual crank handle. To install, simply attach the jack using three 3/8"-16 UNC bolts (grade 5) with washers and nuts, or 3/8"-16 self-tapping bolts. Place the star washers between the flat washers and the mounting plate, as shown in the instructions, to ensure direct metal-to-metal contact and penetrate through any paint on the mounting plate.

Tighten the bolts to 15-20 ft-lb. If a lower support plate is not already present, install one in the bottom of the trailer frame. The installation process is fast and simple, allowing you to start lowering and raising your equipment in no time.

Before operating the jack, park your trailer on a level surface and block all dolly and trailer tires. Attach the foot with the 3/8" safety lock pin provided. Disconnect the jack from the power source, remove the rubber access cover on the top, and insert the manual crank handle into the access hole, engaging the drive screw. Rotate the handle counter-clockwise to extend the jack and clockwise to retract it.

When purchasing a tongue jack, it's essential to ensure that the jack capacity matches or exceeds your trailer's tongue weight (TW), which should be around 10-15% of your gross trailer weight (GTW).
